About Me

My name is Lisa Ellis and I am a qualified therapist and member of the British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy. As such I adhere to its Ethical Framework for Good Practice (bacp).

I have worked with a wide range of issues such as stress, anxiety, post natal depression, bereavement, loss, relationship difficulties, abuse, divorce & separation and have experience of working with young people and adolescents as well as adults.

For 3 years I worked as a Counsellor for an organisation called Youthreach, which offers support and advice to young people between the age of 11 and 25 years. In addition to this I have worked as a Counsellor at The Heart of Kent Hospice with an additional 2 years experience of private practice.

Based in New Barn, Longfield Counselling is accessible to Gravesend, Dartford, Northfleet, Longfield, Hartley, New Ash Green, Southfleet, Meopham, Bean, Darenth and all surrounding areas.
